National Ice Cream Day.

Today is National Ice Cream day!

Our friends the Fife's invited some families over tonight for homemade ice cream to celebrate.

Brandon Fife's Homemade Ice cream

2/3 cup sugar

1 quart half and half

vanilla

It really is the best basic vanilla ice cream you can make, then you can add whatever you want to the base.  Today we had a crushed chocolate candy bar as one flavor and fresh strawberries and blonde Oreo cookie as the other {which was amazing}!
