Real Salt Lake.

We went to the Real Salt Lake game last night {work party} after getting home from Steamboat Springs.  I figured the kids were in the car over 9 hours yesterday.  Yuck.  Can you tell from the picture below how tired they were?!  We had a fun time eating stadium food, talking with friends and watching the Real Salt Lake team beat Canada.

Tired?
This is what the back seat of my car looked like on the ride home!

Botanical Gardens.

I don't know why Truman looks so grumpy in this picture-I liked it because he has a green mustache from his   green smoothie.  We have green smoothies almost every morning for breakfast at home, so I made them for my family in Steamboat.  My boys {all three of my boys} love them.
McKay said they are too green!
We started the morning with a run.  There are some really great paths around Steamboat with tunnels under the road and bridges over the river.  We ended up going north from where we are staying and stopping at the Botanical gardens where the kids ran around before getting back in the stroller for the jog home.
That face - he is my child

Can you see Mr.Crocodile in the water?!
When we got home from our morning adventure the kids had baths and naps.  Truman liked watching a movie in bed; it is a vacation after all!  Yes, my three year old still sucks his thumb when he falls asleep, I think it's kind of cute.

The following pictures are just some random ones for the trip, some taken by me and some by my mom.
Truman and all the balls he brought.
We kept our bikes on the deck in our unit so when we rode them we had to take them down the hall and in the elevator - it was kind of funny.  I wish I would have gotten a video of McKay still in his foot clips riding in the elevator and down the hall - I don't think he unclipped until he was in the room.

Swimming.

The weather has been beautiful in Steamboat and in the afternoon we have been enjoying the pool.
Pictured above: Sam, Kennedi & Libby Thun, Bodie, Marie Thun, Clarissa, Brooklyn and Abi Thomas.
The boys decided to have their own Olympic games in horror of the Summer Olympics starting this Friday.  I am not sure exactly what they called this event but they were seeing who could jump into the pool the furthers by clearing the line.
My cousin Josh.
McKay definitely had more of the ski-jumper approach.
Truman participated by jumping off the steps.
Next was the crab walk.  The boys had to swim across the pool while keeping their toes out of the water.  We were laughing pretty hard watching!
Kennedi.
Tired after an afternoon at the pool!
