Tate Estate: Dedication

My parents started moving into their new house two days ago!  The very next day my siblings and their families started showing up from around the country for our Quinn Family Reunion.  We decided this year to all get together in the summer instead of trying to get together during the holidays when travel is harder and weather is so unpredictable.
Dallin and Jean.
Tonight for family night my dad had a little spiritual thought about homes being like temples.  We wrote down some comparisons to things we do in the temple and in our homes; - i.e. pray, speak kindly, learn, study - then my dad dedicated their new house with all of us there {except Elder Quinn}  :(
My parents gave us each a copy of the latest conference Ensign and asked us to read the talks {over the next few months} and highlight three things.  1) Challenges 2) Faithful Actions 3) Promised Blessings
We are all excited for the upcoming week of adventures and all the years of adventures in the new house!

June in review.

Here are a few June highlights that are post worthy.
Bodie looking cute with his sunglasses on in the back seat of the car.
Gregg working hard to get Pete to laugh.
One evening Truman fell off the tramp backward and his head went through this milk crate.  It was really scary, he stood up and the crate was over his head.  He scraped the side of his face ripping the crate off - other then that luckily he was okay.
One afternoon I sent the kids out to get in the car while I trailed behind - when I got out to the garage I saw this wet spot that looked suspicions {along with Bodie's guilty face}.  When I asked what happened Bodie said he had to go to the bathroom so he peed out the car door.  When I asked why he didn't just run into the house and go, he said "it was coming to fast".
He has have never done anything like this before, I was a little shocked.
I tried a comb-over on Pete one morning, ha!
Morning boy snuggles in our bed.
Neighbors building + wind + rain = dirty windows all summer and I am not going to pay to have them cleaned until the one neighbor finishes landscaping and the other finishes building!
Super cute mellow Pete sleeping admits the chaos.
June 17 it snowed!  No joke!

 Cute boys.
One week McKay asked for a picture of me holding Pete so he could see some perspective as to how small Pete is - I took this picture while snuggling him!
"hello."
We got the rock in our front yard etched with our address!  yahoo!
Gregg and Pete watching a world cup soccer game together.
One night for date night - after the kids were in bed - Gregg and I cleaned out our storage room.  Everything got really dusty while we were building, and it has seemed to overwhelming to take on the task of cleaning everything, but we finally did it and it didn't take that long.  Now we just need to organize and put everything back in!
One afternoon while I was babysitting Anna I heard a faint, "Millie, I need a wipe."
I must really love you Anna.
Pete, asleep in the middle of the master bedroom floor.
Pete and Bodie asleep one Sunday afternoon at my parents house on their bed.
Cute Truman in Gregg's sunnies.

Bacon Brothers.

We had a little date night tonight to see the Bacon Brother's at the Deer Valley Outdoor Music Festival with Gregg's colleagues.
It was Kevin Bacon and his brother and their music.  Although the scenery, the temperature and my date were all nice, I can't say that I recommend Kevin and his band and their music...

Pete 4 Months.

I took Pete in today for his 4-month check up, he is doing great.  So many people ask how his health is given his sick scare in April.  He has healed completely and is great, and he is starting to chunk up!
 Today he measured;

10 pounds 9 ounce
23 inches

Pete is such a good baby, I have said {and thought that} about all my boys but Pete really is my best so far.  He is so chill and mellow and just rolls with whatever we are doing.

Being the third and it being summer he has had to nurse and nap in some not so typical places.  I have nursed while driving through the McDonalds drive through a few times in the past 2 months :)  And he naps almost every afternoon at the pool.

He has consistently been going to bed around 8 PM and sleeping 12 hours with a quick nursing around 5 AM.  He smiles the minute anyone looks at him or talks to him and just today Gregg got him to giggle and laugh.  He hair continues to be the main topic of conversation whenever anyone sees him - I think it grew twice as long in the last month.
I had these matching PJ's that Truman and Bodie once wore, Truman feels left out that I don't have any for him now :(

the end of Tball.

We had our last tball game tonight.
It was a fun season.
Truman playing first base.

Bodie was really happy he got to play this season.
Brothers.

I am not sure how he see's past that hat!
Truman running in for the score.
Team cheer at the end of the game.

This is our cute team.
Cute team with their coach!
What is Bodie doing?  Laying down? Feet crossed?  Silly boy.
