all things p.

We had a Pink and Purple Personal Progress Pizza Pajama Party at my house tonight for mutual.  The girls were invited to wear their pajama's - we ate all things "p" including pizza and had prizes for the girls wearing the most "p" items.  We also took the time to log all the girls into the Personal Progress website {here} and get there PP updated.  Success!

bald mountain.

 McKay sleeping in.
Dallin getting us a morning fire going.
 Breakfast!
4 miles.
8 kids under 8.
6 adults {do McKay and Dallin count as adults or kids}.
3 hours.
The best part of this picture is Anna reaching for Addie's candy.

Aaron got up really early and hiked in on the Highland trail to meet his Priest for the end of their high adventure so Tiff braved Bald Mountain on her own - well, we had McKay and Dallin to help :)

Quinn Family cousins
Enoch (4), Addie (8), Anna (6 months), Bodie (5 months), Ira (20 months), Quinn (6), Jean (2), Truman (2)
The highlight of the hike - we saw a mountain goat!
Two happy sleeping children.

butterfly lake.

We met up with the Hopkinson's and Sharon & Ira {Anthony is still in China} for simple weekend camping trip in the Uinta Mountains.
{my dad came up to make us peach cobbler and Dallin & McKay joined us after their "other" Friday night plans!}
 Bodie rocking his new fedora.
Anna rocking her pants as a hat to keep the mosquitoes off!
Truman was so excited to go camping he couldn't sleep during his afternoon nap.
{he is also rocking his new fedora - too cute.  I couldn't pass them up}.
Ira excited to be with his Quinn Family cousins!
Does Enoch go anywhere without that bike and helmet?  I swear I have seen him in his helmet on more then off this summer.

Concentrating really hard on roasting a marshmallow.

What is wrong with this picture?!
Truman "roasted" and ate three marshmallows without a fire - impressive!
I told my dad, it's all about the experience.
McKay planking ... himself?!
Aaron hugging ... himself?!
Flashlight lit tree.
After we put the kids to bed we had fun experimenting with my camera.  Aaron has a coworker who has an amazing photo of an arch at night lit by flashlights.  Here is our attempt at a very long exposure in-which we 'lit' this pine tree by waving our flashlights over it.

dallin.

Dallin, we are so happy to have you back on the main land!
{after a mission to Finland, Jerusalem for a semester and then Hawaii - stop & stay a while}.
P.S. He is tall, blond, speaks Finnish, attending BYU, has cute nephews ...

Truman and Ira enjoying uncle McKay.

rice cereal.

Time for Bodie to start eating rice cereal.  He is not a huge fan - I usually mix in some apple juice to help the taste.

Bodie - I promise once you finish this one box of rice cereal we will move on to much more exciting foods.

dinosaur museum.

We went to the Thanksgiving Point Museum of Ancient Life today.
It was $2.00 Tuesday and it was a zoo...
 Gabrielle digging in the sand.
{bad picture, but I wanted the memory - bad lighting and I didn't have my flash}.
I thought this was a pretty cool underwater creature.
This was the only exhibit that Truman was terrified of - I told him Jonah was in the whales mouth from the bible story - he wouldn't go near it.
 Tabitha Fife.
The best part was the 25 cent ice cream cones after lunch.
 Gabrielle Fife.
 Anna Hopkinson.
Ira Quinn doing his kissy face.
Jean Hopkinson.
