Keeping with holiday traditions we all ran the Heber Memorial 5K this morning.
{Quinn, Gregg, Bodie, Me, Pete, Dad, Mom, Becca, Jean, Nelson, Aaron, Addie, Tiff}
Not pictured: Truman and Enoch
The run went passed our friends house, they were out on the curb cheering us on.
I think this was Becca's first big run since her ankle accident back HERE and Aaron had no intentions of running until his kids wanted to and he felt like he needed to go along for support.
Mom and Dad.
There was a light drizzle the last mile of the race - it felt really nice.
Becca, me and Quinn.
I signed the boys up for the one mile fun run but they ended up riding their bikes on the 5K.
I was SO proud of Bodie - he just learned how to ride a two wheeler one week ago today and now he has done 3.2 miles without stopping or crashing. He was a little speed demand today, I had to run my heart out to keep up with him.
My little racers plus Gregg and Pete.
Addie ran the 5K AND the fun run.
Here she is finishing strong, she was the first girl finisher.
Nelson loves Pete and Pete is a good race buddy.
Quinn also ran the fun run and did a great job.

Pete and Grandma Lynn {with her cute curly hair}
We spent the entire day as a family working in the year and getting our small garden planted.
Tonight we invited some friends over for our first fire of the season and s'mores. Both sets of the grandparents also stopped by to see the boys.
S'more season.
He's becoming the master.
A hot dog in one hand and a s'more in the other!!!
I pruned a bunch of our trees which made for great firewood.
We burned all of our clipping for the yard today.
It was a perfect family day with lots of hard work and play.
