Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bars
1 package (18 oz) German chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup canola oil
1 package (8 oz) reduced- fat cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
In a large bowl combined the cake mix, oil and egg. Set aside 1 cup for the topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into a 13 inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set.
For filing, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg; beat well. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and reserved crumb mixture.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
