Truman had his 9 month check up today. Despite my efforts to fatten him up, he is still little.
14 pounds 15 ounces 27 inches.
His red blood cell count was down which the doctor thinks is a lack of iron in his diet. Bring on the red meats! I went to the store and bought all the baby foods with the most iron. He will eat anything we give him - and sleeps 12 + hours a night. I can't complain!
They took his blood?? My girls have never had their blood taken at a check up? He sure is cute--who do you think will be skinnier at one? Stella was just under 16 pounds.

ReplyDeleteThey did a little finger prick and took blood that way. If he hasn't fattened up at 12 months then they will take blood from his arm and run some tests. Truman better be bigger then Stella! Its a race.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect. He has a tall slender dad too. I hope they take that in consideration. Give the boy some slack!! He sure is cute though. Yeah Kherrington already weighs more, but she doesn't have any height passed on in the genes!!!
ReplyDeleteGet some fat on that boy or our kid might squish him at the Arave family reunion! :) As long as he's happy and healthy then I think you're doing your job.
