I got this beautiful quilt for Christmas from my mom that she and my aunts made. It's called red-on-red embroidery. I have watched them work on it all fall. As it came together I totally fell in love with it and was socked when I opened it up Christmas morning. I don't think my mom was planning on giving it to me, but she knew how much I loved it.
Each of my aunts and my grandma initialed the panels that they embroidered.
My grandma Arave hand quilted it.
I love it.

What an amazing gift! I think I got a zing of jealousy. . .but for only a second. It is absolutely beautiful and the best kind of gift to receive!
