Nap Time.

I know we should not encourage this - but we had to get a video of it {we put the pad down to brace his fall - he will do it without it but we kind of felt bad for him falling onto the floor}.

Now what do I do?
I have enough going on trying to adjust to a one week old baby.

{note: he is saying "I come" "coming" as in "I am coming...here I come" - yes Truman, we see you coming...falling that is}

  1. Crazy kid. This will totally be Crew before I know it. He already tries to go head first on other things.
    Truman has changed a ton just from the last time I saw him.
    Cute kid.

  2. Funny!! You guys need to put him in a big bed and then lock the door or keep putting him in bed, he will know you mean business. I love that you videoed him and encouraged it, so cute!

  4. What great form! We were worried with our Libby transition. We were suprised at how excited she was to sleep in a new bed. We just made a big deal about it. I think it depends also on how well Truman goes to bed right now. We had a time where Libby would get up and walk around the house in the middle of the night, so we had to put one of those kid proof doorknob deals on her side of the door and close it once she had fallen asleep. This has helped a bunch. Good luck!

  5. I agree. Once they start climbing out its time for a big boy bed. Then you work on Staying in bed. I never thought about a kid proof doorknob on the INSIDE. Genius. Might work really well for "quiet time" formerly known as nap time. Hmm...
