car chair and high chair.

Time for a bigger car chair.  I am thinking about getting the Britax Marathon.  Any advice? Likes, dislikes?

It's also time for a high chair.  I have determined that I don't want one that attaches to a chair or the counter.  I am thinking about this one by Chicco. I have no idea what features I will like/dislike.  Advice? Likes? Dislikes?

  1. I love our britax, expensive, but great choice. I would say get a high chair with wheels and not a lot of little places for food to hide, easy to clean.

  2. My sis-in-law bought the britax and mostly liked it, but beware of the hugeness/bulk of it. It took up a lot of space.

  3. Maarathon is great--ALL the parts are replaceable and will last through 65 pounds. Spend the money on it. Presley's is a Decathlon and not all the parts are replaceable . . .

I would seriously take a look at the Lobster by Phil & Teds--it is a couter clip on but looks awesome.

I dislike my high chair, but only because it is big and bulky--like they all are. Take a look at the Ikea high chair . . . cheap and minimalistic.

  4. We've got the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 for both our girls and love it. It lasts through 65lbs and can convert into a booster with no straps or just a plain booster seat with no back.

  5. I don't like the look of the car seat. You should get something more colorful.

  6. I agree with McKay on the color choice for the carseat. Presley is jealous of how cute Stella's carseat is--hers is plain and two-tone browns. Go for the cow Marathon :) They have tons to choose from on the britax web site.
