New Year’s Breakfast
3 boxes of Jiffy corn bread
1 package of Hormel maple sausage
1 cup milk
¾ cups sugar
1 ½ cans of Apricots (save the juice)
Mix the three boxes of Jiffy, eggs, milk and sugar. Brown the sausage in a fry pan. Alternate putting two apricots and two sausages in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Pour the corn bread mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
In a blender mix a can of apricots and the left over juice to make an apricot syrup.
