four months.

{this looks like a mug shot!}
 Bodie had his four month appointment and shots today.
I could not believe it when the nurse told me he was 12 pounds 0 ounces 23 3/4 inches tall.  He is smaller then Truman was at this age.  Truman seemed so small to me at four month; Bodies does not seem that small.  The nurse {who was a student} was trying to tell me I need to fatten him up...do you see the double chin - he looks {and acts} healthy to me!  He is sleeping about 8-10 hours at night {and has since about 6 weeks old}, he reaches for objects, squeals and laughs and smiles spontaneously.  Still does not roll over at all.
 Bodie has the best crying face.  Gregg wanted me to take a picture of his cry face for this post - these are not his normal "good" cry face...I will have to try again another time!

Truman trying to hold Bodie.

In Sunbeams a couple of weeks ago the lesson was "I Can Be Happy" so we have been singing "If you chance to me a frown".  The picture above is Truman's frowny face.  The kid can not frown even if he tries! It is the funniest face.

Truman singing "If you chance to me a frown...do not let it stay..."
Here is the picture he brought home.  Look familiar! I think I colored the same picture when I was in sunbeams.
I especially love the soccer ball, baseball, football, basketball, soccer goal and basketball hoop drawn on the picture!

Monday.

Happy Independence Day!
There are so many great memories from the day that I want to remember - so brace yourself for the pictures!
 McKay and Enoch riding to the parade.
 The Park City parade was lame.  We went to the parade every year growing up and I used to think it was so great.   It has turned completely political.  This was the coolest float - it was snowboarders and skiers jumping on a tramp (on a trailer as it drove down main street) doing tricks.

 The one great thing about the parade was the weather - perfect parade weather.  Tiffany, Addie and I walked from main street to my parents house afterward {with the double stroller and some sleeping kids}.

 After the parade and some lunch we played for hours on the fields behind my parents house.  Here we are slack-lining {a Quinn family favorite pass time}.
 And a new family favorite sport...planking.
Enoch planking his mom.
 Aaron planking the slack-line.
{I thought slack-lining took talent, try planking a slack line, wow}.
a classic Aaron face.
 McKay
 We played a lot of soccer with Truman.

Nice kick Addie.
Jean asked me to take a picture of her new trick {since I was taking pictures of everyone else doing tricks}
She can do a somersault!!
{sagging diaper and all - this girl always has a sagging diaper!}

 Homemade ice cream.
 Truman was completely terrified of the sparklers - but thanks to Tiffany all the little kids got glow sticks!

Friday.

 We are looking forward to a fun 4th of July weekend with lots of family {both sides}.  Here is how today played out -  Truman is in love with the little pool my parents bought for the summer {complete with a slide!}.
 I usually do put a swim suit on him - but today this was his second time in the pool so his swim suit was already wet...

 We stopped by the Red Ledges party.  I was taking a picture of Gregg and Truman playing tennis and happened to see my shadow - an all to familiar silhouette!
{no, I am not pregnant again, Bodie is on my front in the baby carrier}.
 I thought Truman would be scared of the horses but he loved them - we didn't have time for a ride so we got a rain-check {he sometimes mistakes horses of camels}.
cousin Presley the pink butterfly {so cute}.
 cousin Stella the rainbow butterfly.
{check out Tara's pictures here}
We stayed up late playing cards with McKay, Nathan and Lauren.  Bodie looks like he is totally into the game!
