Pete had his two week check up today.
It was a less-then great check up.
When they put him on the scale and a 5 popped up I about died. He weighs 5 pounds 11 ounces, down from 6 pounds 6 ounces at birth. I know babies always lose some of their birth weight, but the goal is to have them gain it back by two weeks.
He also hasn't passed his hearing test in his right ear. It might just be because his ears are still so small, and it might be because of some other more permanent reason, we just don't know yet.
And of course all this makes me worried.
Pete loves to be really warm - I usually have him wrapped in several blankets and often times I put him by the fireplace.
