Ilene's Lemon Cake
{my aunts recipe}
One Berry Crocker {best brand} white cake mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
4 egg whites
juice and zest of one lemon
Mix and bake in three round cake pans at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Lemon Filling
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, room temperature
2 1/4 cups powder sugar
juice and zest of one lemon
Whip until light and fluffy
Beat 1 cup heavy cream and the fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Top the cake and garnish with fresh lemons. Enjoy.
