Jumper time.

We got out the jumper today and Pete loves it although he is not quit tall enough even on the lowest setting!
Bodie thinks it's pretty cool to.
For now we have a pillow under his feet so he can reach the floor.
Now Pete can be right in the middle of the action in the Great room!

Walk-a-thon.

Today Truman's school held a walk-a-thon to raise money for the PTA.  My friend Donna and I brought our younger kids and met up with our school kids to walk with them.  These boys were to fast for us - they did more of a run-a-thon!  We enjoyed walking and talking!
It was a perfect day!  This was the field we were walking around.
According to my run-keeper app he walked/ran 2.6 miles in about 45 minutes.
 Pete enjoyed the ride!
Truman ended up raising the most money for his grade and walking the most laps in his class.
Good job little man!

Swimming with friends.

We have lived at the pool this summer.
Even though school has started we have still been sneaking away to the pool in the afternoons as often as we can.
These boys have become best friends in a short amount of time.  When Jake and Luke {who are twins} moved to Midway in February they enrolled in Truman's same pre-kindergarten class, we soon realized we were in the same ward and living in the same neighborhood.
Today at the pool they had contests all afternoon; who could do the best knee dive, standing dive, cannon ball, twister, etc.
Ah, to be a kid again.
I love Truman's face and body in these next pictures.
Bodie and Dad.
Gregg threw Luke in the air thinking he would just land in the water but instead Luke tucked and did a front flip-twister and I happened to get it on the camera.
Chicken fights.
Pete is completely happy watching from the stroller every time!

Fall Soccer.

Fall soccer is in full swing, and we lucked out with an awesome team.
Truman's two really good friends in our neighborhood Jake and Luke {twins} are on our team and so is the neighbor across the street, another Luke.  There is one other little 4 year old boy on our team who is playing for the first time and although we don't know him, he is cute and the "older" boys love showing him how to play.  We didn't end up with any girls on our team again this season.
A little half-time drill with dad.

Pep talk
{Truman is number 14}
Luke W., Truman, Luke G.
Truman breaking away with the kick.

Look at the intensity in his face.

Here is a closer up shot of that face.
Here is Luke working his moves.
Corner throw in.
An end of the game cheer for the other team - I think it is going to be good season with these boys who are already friends!
