Another reason for the trip to Idaho was to visit my grandpa Quinn.
He is fighting bone marrow cancer.
He fought and beat cancer the first time 12 years ago right before he joined our family on a trip to Africa.

He has lost 30 pounds since he started treatments and hasn't be able to leave the house all winter {not even to go to church}.  He got a little teary eyed when we all sat down for lunch, he was so thankful to have visitors!

Natalies Wedding.

My cute cousin Natalie got married today in the Rexburg Idaho Temple.

I didn't take any pictures at the temple {bummed about that} but I made up for it at the reception.

I was on a mission to take lots of pictures of the flowers because my muli-talented sister did them ALL and she was not able to be at the wedding to see them.

Everyone was commenting on the 'awesome' flower leafs made out of pages from books.

I hear there is a great story about how those red pins were attached to the bottom of the flowers ... an idea my cousin saw on Pinterest and wanted my sister to recreate.

We left Gregg and Truman in Utah so it is just me and Bodie for the weekend.

Every time I looked at him at the reception he was eating a different dessert.

My aunt and her sisters did an awesome job transforming the church cultural hall into a beautiful reception.

He is the cutest baby {my cousin Jake's 8 week old baby}.

I got to rock him to sleep the night before the wedding at a family dinner.

Not all babies are cute {sorry, but it is true} but he IS cute!

It was so good to see my cousin Jake and his cute wife Sarah, and to meet cute Leo.  They live in Chicago now so we don't see each other much.  I almost stole their baby, he is that cute.

Valentine Lunch.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Truman learned how to make a heart with his hands at school this week at his Valentine Party.

He also got to wear red to school {we don't own pink - but I think little boys can wear red}.

My friend Tami invited us over for a pot-luck Valentine lunch today, we brought the red veggies pictured below.

The mom's chatting at the table while the kids played - we talked for well over an hour without any kid interruptions!

Big Band.

 Every year Park City High School Jazz Band holds a large Big Band Galla to raise money.  Three of my four brothers payed the trumpet in the Varsity Jazz band so tonight was our last ever Big Band Galla {McKay's senior year}.  My dad bought an entire table and invited us all to celebrate.

Nathan is in Brazil on business so just Lauren flew in to represent!  Her sisters Carmen and Shannon also joined us.  McKay is good friends with Carmen and Dallin and Shannon are friends at BYU.
