Alpine Slide.

I wanted to take Truman down the alpine slide in Steamboat, we checked it out yesterday and found out he was old enough to ride with someone.
He loved the ride up on the lift.  He kept saying "look mom, we are taller then the trees, we are in the sky"  He didn't want me to hold onto him.
 Getting ready to go.
My brother McKay and cousin Erik came with us, they're fun to hangout with.
Truman yelled "wheee " all the way down - he loved it.  No fear in this little guy.

Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

We are in Steamboat Springs, Colorado for the next few days with my parents, McKay and some of my cousins and their families.  It is beautiful here, it feels so similar to Park City.
Today my dad and McKay took me 4-wheeling.
I rode behind my dad and listened to my book on my iPad.  It was the perfect way to spend a few hours, the scenery was beautiful.
We went up this trail a few miles to Percy Lake to have lunch.  The ride was sketchy ... I got a little too scared.  I kept thinking, 'I can not die, I have two kids and a husband to take care of'.
The lake sure was beautiful
I know these two pictures do not do any justice to how scary this part of the trail was.  It was incredibly steep {which you can not tell from the pictures}.  I got off and walked it when we were riding up {my dads machine only had the back two tires on the ground and the top two in the air it was so steep, to0 scary for me} and I got off to take pictures of my dad and McKay coming down it on the way out.
The wild flowers were really pretty and very colorful, but I didn't take any pictures :(

{Tuesday}

Off to find a golf course in Steamboat.
McKay trying out the new clubs!
Bodie decided to talk this week.  He discovered that he can repeat anything you say {words, not phrases}.
He has been saying "mom" for about a month and knows that when he says it he can get my attention.  This week he has been saying, "mama {grandma}, papa {grandpa}, football {and he knows what it is}, golf ball, please, thank you, cheese {for the camera}... and many more.
My mom took this picture with her iPhone off all the "toys" in the back of my car that are for the boys.  I had the Subaru packed with all sorts of toys, bikes, double stroller, tennis rackets, golf clubs, baseballs, backpacking packs, etc., etc., etc.  It was our 'toy box on wheels'
Playing soccer with grandpa.
Hot and tired little boy from all that running around playing every sport thinkable that uses a ball.
We met up with my aunt and uncle for dinner - Papa Murphy's mini pizzas - we each got to make our own, so good!  Thank you Thuns.
Truman, Bodie and my mom with my cousin Josh kids, Liberty and Kennedi - all the way from New York!  It was so good to see them.
Josh and I were at Rick's college together {back in the day when it was Rick's College} I have lots of good memories with him there.
Chilling with uncle McKay.
"little McKay" with "big McKay"
Night time stories with grandma Quinn - lucky boy.
What a fun first day at Steamboat, we are exhausted.

Golf Clubs.

We bought Truman a new set of "real" golf clubs - he was the happiest little boy!
So cute.
I will post some picture of him "whacking" the ball.
Bodie holding the driver in the car.
Truman opened them up and checked them out as soon as we got in the car!

Wicked.

I saw Wicked today for the first time.
Loved it!
The cast was amazing, most of them were from the Broadway cast.
Now I want to watch "The Wizard of Oz" and see how the two fit together.
 Thanks Tami for the invite!

Convention.

This weekend was StampinUp! convention in Salt Lake.  As usual I tagged along with my mom and dad {my dad is on the board}.  McKay and I went one day, Lauren flew in from SF to go another day and the last day my friend Tami and I stopped by.

When did McKay get so tall?
I seriously feel short despite my out-of-control TALL hair in the picture above ..
why didn't my mom fix that crazy hair?!
My first thought when I saw this picture was,
"I look like Egon from Ghostbusters"
Remember how the Egon action figures head popped up when you pushed the button on his back?
Egon Spengler's Super Fright Feature

Anyway, back to StampinUp!  We had tons of fun.
That bag looks good on you McKay.
Doing projects.
Theme for the convention "i am..."
Going to the awards night.
Friday afternoon I stopped by with the kids - we wanted to see Aunt Lauren {to bad we missed Nate}.
