tramp.

We have a new addition to your backyard.  A tramp.  Truman loves to jump and I have been eyeing these five foot tramps all summer.  Truman loves its - he can jump all his energy out.  I am seriously contemplating putting it in the house for winter!
Our cousins Presley and Stella came over to try it out.
Stella is not fond of looking at the camera.

update.

An update to this post.
Bodies bottom left tooth poked all the way through!
If I had to guess what he would say, if he could talk, I would guess he would say,
"Mom, I am NOT going to open my mouth one more time for you"
And that was the end of that!  He decided his shadow was way cooler to look at then me taking photos!

St. George.

We just spent a few days in St. George visiting Gregg's little sister and her family.  On Monday night we went to Tuacahn's production of The Little Mermaid.  Amazing!  I was like a kid in a candy shop watching all the special effects.  Wow.
Truman had fun playing with his cousin and buddy Lincoln.  They are one year apart and play so well together.  Lincoln was trying to think of every way possible to either come home with us or get Truman to stay.  He started to cry when we left.  So sad, but glad they are such good buddies.
I finally finished this book on our trip.  I started it back when we went to Yellowstone but then I had to put it down to read some other books.  It was good, interesting, makes you think, and kind of slow.
Gregg and I listened to most of this book on the way home {for the second time}.  It makes me a little nervous to raise boys.  My dad recommended a bunch of books on raising boys that we have been reading {you can find the list on the lower right hand column of my blog}.
I looked out my window as we were driving home and saw this view - I thought the clouds were pretty!

wedding.

My cousin Jenny got married today.  It was a beautiful ceremony in Morgan with the Weber river in the background.
Simons Family sandwich!  There was great live music to dance to.
Jean and Truman dancing.

White chocolate and cinnamon covered apples {that were to die for} were the party favors, how appropriate for fall.
me and Jenny - we are about 6 months apart - we have many, many, many crazy childhood memories together.
Thanks McKay for taking this spontaneous family photo!
It looks like Bodie is thinking, "am I really part of this crazy family - what am I doing here?"

teeth.

Someone in our house is getting his first tooth!  Bodies bottom left tooth just poked through at seven months old.
{there were more tears then this today, we all got flu shots}.

zoo.

I have been saying for weeks that I wanted to take the kids to the zoo one last time before it got to cold.  It ended up being the perfect temperature today to go - mid 70's - and the zoo was not crowded at all.
Gregg, Truman, Bodie and the stroller weighing in at 202 pounds ... like anyone really wants their weight compared to an animal at the zoo {that's why you don't see me on the scale}!
Gregg told me to get on the rino for a picture - I was having a hard time getting up in a lady-like way with a skirt on - then once I got on I started to slip off the other size.  No good picture came of it.
This Lynx cat was hanging out right by the fence providing a great view.
My favorite animal - since the second grade when I did a report on them.
Bodie took it all in from the stroller - not a peep from him the entire time we were there.

I don't mind my height being compared to animals at the zoo!

Two of my favorite boys enjoying some quality time in bed before conference started.
