swap.

Our ward held it's first annual Clothing Swap.
Three of our young woman organized the activity as a Value Project for Personal Progress.
We had tons and tons of great clothes!

On Friday night we had ward members drop off clothes between 6 and 8.  We folded and sorted the clothes.  This morning people came from 9 to noon to take what ever they wanted.
Playing around in some awesome outfits!
Here are two of the young woman who did the project for personal progress.
I must admit I had a little warm fuzzy in my heart when I saw how much people donated.  I think the girls would agree that if felt good to be helping people.
And the best part - I think we all went home with something new!

shower.

My mom and I threw a baby shower today for one of my high school friends Tori.  She is living back in Park City in the ward we grew up in, in her parents house while they are on a mission in Africa.

{also pictured; Tessa Dahl, another high school friend}
I love this picture of my mom - it happened to also be her birthday!  She chilled on the sofa holding Bodie for part of the afternoon.

Why do I always take pictures of the desserts?
These were yummy lemon beehive cakes my mom made.
We surprised her with "Happy Birthday" and her favorite cake, does she look surprised?!

And Bodie, chilling - always holding onto the blanket.

Anniversary.

We are celebrating our 6th Wedding Anniversary today.  Gregg was 'incharge' of our anniversary this year so he surprised me with a stay at the newest hotel in Deer Valley; the Montage.  It was fun to be surprised!

We stayed in one of there small suits!  It had a living room, dining area and our room.

The entry, pool, library, spa, it was all mazing.  This hotel has only been open since December.  Supposedly it is the nicest hotel in the United States.  I could believe it.
Truman stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Simons {thank you!} and Bodie came with us {and slept in the closet}.  I was a big fan of the interior design of this hotel.  It was a perfect blend of a classy Ralph Lauren/ Barclay Butera mixed with a little 'Park City' mountain feel.

Thanks Gregg!
Six years and two kids later.

{now what am I going to do next year...}

two months.

Bodie turned two months old this week; I can not believe how fast it is going and how big he is getting.
We went to see Dr. Haderlie today for this two month check up and my 8 week check up.

10 pounds 10 ounces | 22 inches

Bodie started smiling a few weeks ago - as seen in the picture above.  He is a really good and mellow baby.  At three weeks old we moved him out of our room {because he is a noisy sleeper} at about 5 weeks he started skipping one feeding at night and sleeping 6 consecutive hours.  Last night he slept 7 hours, yahoo!  Hopefully that is a new trend!

I think I might have a blue eyed baby!
{how fun, one brown eyed and one blue}

sunday.

We spent today in Herriman at two family baby blessings.
Thank goodness for some sunshine!  Truman and Jean LOVED jumping on the tramp - Sunday clothes and all.

{I was loving  Turman's super preppy look today!}
Jean LOVES Truman - she is always trying to hug and attack him.  It's good for Truman!

Gregg was cracking up at Jeans hair after rubbing her head on the tramp.

Anna Hokpkinson.

Two different pairs of shoes?!
The dress.
Jake and April Trent {my cousin} also blessed their baby today.  MacKenzie's dress was made by her super talented grandma Trent.  Amazing.
Is that a smile?

Best picture of the day - I love it!
Congratulations Aaron & Tiffany and Jake & April on your beautiful girls and a wonderful day.

womans conference.

I could not attend Womans Conference at BYU this year because I have a nursing baby but I was invited to meet up with my extended family for our traditional dinner at Los Hermanos.  Yummy.

easter birthdays.

We have several birthdays in our family in the month of April so we decided to celebrate them all in conjunction with Easter {which happened to be McKay's sweet 16th Birthday}.

Bodie in his party hat.

I have lots of childhood memories associated with this bunny cake.  I think my mom made it often for Easter so I requested it this year for the birthdays.

Truman on the Easter egg hunt with golf club and ball in hand.
{he was not super interested in collecting eggs until will got inside and he discovered there was candy in them}

cute Jean super excited about her eggs.
and cute baby Anna.
