underwater.

I just got the photos back that we took on an under water camera.
One of the places that we snorkeled we saw turtles.

Is that my skirt up around my waist?!?
My mom and I ready to parasail.
McKay and Gregg ready to zip-line through the jungle.

mother's day.

                                For mother's day I made flower arrangements for our moms.

Talking to Elder Quinn in Finland - He just got called to be the AP.
{Tiffany and Anthony were conferenced in from Arizona and Pennsylvania.  McKay, Nate and I were at the house}

Looking good in their new suits.
I forgot the mention that McKay won the cruise challenge, he gained 17 pounds.  Nate gained 9.
I made these flower corsages for my mom, mother-in-law and girlfriends to wear to church for mother's day.
Happy Mother's Day.

happy 5th.

Today is our 5th wedding anniversary.

Our first was spent in PC babysitting the Sumsion kids.  You have heard me blog about them before.  We usually babysit a few time a year.  They were very excited to share our cake with us {which by the way I did not freeze and save, I had a new fresh topper made}.

For our second I had balloons delivered to Gregg at work -he was totally embarrassed.  I kidnapped him early and we went to dinner at the Melting Pot in Salt Lake.
We were both so sick on our third anniversary that we stayed in bed {sick} all day.  It was kind of fun to relax and watch movies together.

I spent our fourth anniversary in Idaho Falls with my mom, brother, Truman {who was two weeks old}and my aunt Ilene {who helped me make my first birdie sling bag}.  Gregg was sick so I took the baby and left town so he would not get sick {remember it was the SWINE flu scare}

{our anniversaries getting lamer as the years go by}.

Today will be good...I can't blog about it yet because I am in charge of the planning and I don't want to spoil the surprise for Gregg {all I can say is that it involves wood - the traditional fifth wedding anniversary gift}.
It has been a fantastic five years!  Thanks Gregg and thank you to all our friends and families for your support and examples.

flight home.

Truman had a chocolate muffin for breakfast - yummy.

bye, bye vacation.

Is he really this happy to be flying again?  Probably so since he slept on every flight the entire time!

I finally read the third "Twilight" book on this trip...I am not really a fan of the series - definitely more of a Jacob fan then an Edward fan!
{I have started the last book...I have to finish}

PS- to see all the post about our vacation you have to click on "older posts" at the bottom of the page...I could not get them to all show up on one page.

* sorry for the over load of pictures - I know there are a lot and that is kind of annoying...but since this blog is quickly turning into my journal writing and scrapbooking there were so many things from this trip that I wanted to remember.

Puerto Rico.

The cruise started and ended in Puerto Rico.  We spent the day with a tour guide getting a tour of Puerto Rico - as you can see it was raining.

If I lived in a foreign country {technically Puerto Rico is not a foreign country since it is part of the US common wealth} I would love all the fresh fruits at the market - not to mention all the fruits and vegetables that we don't get here in the US {main land}.

I highly recommend the $30 umbrella stroller for traveling with a toddler {or baby}.  Truman loved it - we never left our room without it - even if we were just going to dinner. It's small, light weight and cheep so if something happens to it it's no big deal.
Thanks to my dad and his awesome trip planning we went on a tour of the botanical gardens in San Juan {seriously, my dad should be a travel agent in his next life - if you have ever been on a trip with him, you will understand.  Every minute of every day is planned}.

ginger...if I remember correctly.

Gregg trying to fit Truman into his rain poncho.

"I'm singing in the rain...just singing in the rain..."
I don't think Truman realized it was raining - he was so happy and goofy.

the beach.

After a guided tour of San Juan we said good bye to my parents who headed to a resort in southern PR {for a few extra days} the "kids" all headed to their hotel... after a quick nap we headed out to the beach {which was conveniently across the street}.
Let's see if Truman like the beach better then his cousins Stella and Presley?!?

considering I took 7 swim suits...I some how managed to be wearing the same one in every picture.

{this picture was taken at the hotel pool}
Our last night in Puerto Rico we headed out for a good authentic Puertorican dinner...until Gregg spotted Ruth's Chris!

One last night-time walk on the beach.

This is after Uncle Nate changed Truman diaper...no need to encourage the behavior..if you know what I mean {or have a baby boy}.

Good Night.
Sorry Truman, you got moved to the floor once you fell asleep {he rolled under the bed during the night}.
