The first day on the cruise ship was spent at sea crusin' the Caribbean.
We spent the entire day playing and exploring the ship.

Weighting in - McKay and Nate decided to see who could gain the most weight.  The loser has to pay the entrance fee for the winners upcoming Triathlon!

Nate and McKay also played in a dodge ball and volleyball tournament.  Their team WON the volleyball tournament!  Congratulations boys!  {They won Royal Caribbean gold medals that they wore all week}

The hotel was the renovated 4th floor of a Cardiovascular hospital in San Juan.  We arrived very late at night after a long day of flights.  Truman was awesome on the flights, he slept on my lap the entire flight - I actually got to read my book!  Unfortunately our luggage didn't make it...
My parents put us 'kids' up at a different hotel then them...what is up with that??  

It was McKay's 15th birthday so we packed a gift for him.  We did most of the partying and presents before we left for our trip.

friday flashbacks.

TREK.

A few weeks ago Gregg and I were asked to be Ma and Pa's on our Stake Pioneer Trek this summer.  We have attended a few meetings including a stake dinner and square dance.

I know alot of you have participated in Trek so we are wondering what advice, help, tips, etc. to can give us.  So far I am incharge of making a packing list for the kids, and the music.  Gregg is in charge of making sure every kid gets a letter from "the poney express" while on the trail {that means he has to get a letter for every participates parents before we leave - yikes}.

Also, does anyone have pioneer clothes or patterns we can borrow?

We started off the day at the doctors office for Truman's one year check up.  He got five shots...ouch.
He weighs 18 pounds and is 28 inches long. 

Gregg wanted Truman to have a baseball glove and ball cake just like he did on his first birthday.

Like most mom's say "I can't believe my baby is one"  All weekend I was thinking about last year when I went into labor and delivered.  At one Truman knows a few words {his favorite in da'da}, he can crawl and is just starting to stand up on his own.  He LOVES the water {bath, shower, swimming pool}, his favorite foods are clementines and blueberries.  He will eat anything, and he can do patty-cake and wave bye-bye {I will post a video of it}.  He says "mmmm" when he see's food or is hungry, and he sleeps 12+ hours at night.  Can we get a guarantee our other kids will be this good??

a day off.

Last week Gregg had a day off during the middle of the week.  We decided to make it a family day and do fun stuff together.  It started out with Gregg and Truman watching cartoons in bed.  Then it was off to Park City to run some errands, then Ikea, Cabela's and Costco.  We made it home just in time for Presley's birthday party.  Whew.  What a long day.

Despite the look on Truman's face he actually LOVED Cabellas. 

Presley got a tennis racquet from Uncle Gregg... looks like she will be learning to play tennis this summer.
