Simons Christmas 2016.

I love Christmas and I love dressing up for Christmas {or in this case my children}.  As a child I remember always getting a special dress for Christmas time.

Ski Season.

We finally made it to the ski slopes.  This year Pete get's to ski with us.

He loved it despite the fact that it was such a cold day.

{I kept adding hats, cloves, and eventually my neck warmer trying to keep him warm}.

He was SO happy.

Reflections.

Truman entered the PTA Reflections competition at school a little over a month ago.  A few days ago I got a call letting me know he had won for his age group and category and that he would be recognized during the morning announcements.

I went to the school this morning to be there when they recognized him.  Here he is walking down the hall to the office after his name was read - and pictured above is when he first saw me in the hall.  Surprise!

Back Yard Skiing.

Bodie is SO excited to ski this year.  

Today he took matters into his own hands, he went out and skied in the back yard.  He has been begging us to take him to the ski hill but it just hasn't work into our schedule yet this season.

He is so cute.

He would ski down, take off his ski's and hike back up, put his ski's back on and ski down again.

It makes me excited for the ski season.

Gingerbread House.

 We started our gingerbread house for family night on Monday night, we've worked on it every night since and finally, last night after the kids went to bed, I finished what they started.   They did a really good job.

This year we pulled out the leftover Halloween candy and added it to our house.

I plan on using our creation as part of our holiday decor this year.
