Let's Play Music: Green Turtles.

Truman started his second year of Let's Play Music.  This semester is called "Green Turtle Shells" and he gets to start playing the piano!  I get go once every four weeks to class with him.
He has had fun coloring the pictures in his music book.  He has really be into drawing and coloring since school started.
I turned on his music so it would play throughout the house this afternoon and from the office I saw this ... him at the piano playing and singing.  I love at the end of the video when he looks over and sees me making a video.
I also filmed him writing his name in his theory book, for some reason the quality didn't turn out that great but it's still a cute memory.
I feel like we have entered a whole new level of intensity with our music lessons!
Bodie and Pete {Pete attends as the little brother} are in their first year of Sound Beginnings {a division of Let's Play Music}, this semester is "White Horses"
Bodie did this class a few years ago as 'the little brother' to Truman.  Pete LOVES when Echo Edna {the puppet} comes out each class.  He will sit wide-eyed and just stare at her!

SF Quinn's visit.

Nate, Lauren and Tagg came to town from San Francisco for the weekend so we all got together at my parents for the day.
 Truman and Tagg.
Tagg is so dang cute.  He loved grandpa and grandma's swing.
They don't have anything like that in the big city :)

Pete was a little bit grumpy today, not sure why so grandma snuggled him lots.
I caught Quinn giving her dad some loves.
There is always a fire involved when Dallin is around and we are at grandma's.
Although we are not in the picture (ha!) I had to document the craft room and the crafting that Lauren, my mom and I did.
Lauren is technically "working" while they are here so this was a common scene.

  Seriously?
So cute!
 Tagg and Pete.
Little buddies.
One month apart.
{and there goes Pete again, touching Tagg's leg!  Check out my post HERE where he is doing the same thing to his cousin Evelyn.  He looks like he is so proud of himself}
Tagg is going to get him back and push him over!
Pete's looking a little worried about that!
 Buddies!
Lauren does a monthly photo with Tagg holding his elephant so she asked me to snap a few for this month.  He is a little over 7 months old and cute as ever!

Naps.

Kindergarten and all that is new that comes with it can be exhausting!
Truman snuggled up on me after school today and fell asleep.
He needed it.

First day of Preschool: Bodie.

This boy makes me laugh ... a lot.
There were SO many great photos of him heading out for the first day of school that I had a hard time narrowing them down :)

He might regret this one later in life!
Here is the most "normal" but why go with normal, the others show such great personality!

His first assignment after meeting his teacher earlier this week was to decorate this sunshine with things that represented him.  I think he did a great job, there is an octopus, lego guys, Yoda, a skeleton and all sorts of balls.
At my request Bodie has the same teacher Truman did at this age, Miss. Camee.  Her personality is perfect for Bodie, she is so kind and patient and a little bit goofy!  After two years of watching Truman going to Sunshine Circle it's finally Bodies' turn and he couldn't be more excited.  He will go two mornings a week for two and a half hours.

Evelyn.

The kids cousin Evelyn came to visit today with her mom Amber {Brad's wife} she is two months older than Pete.  Pete kind of looks like a doll in this picture.
Truman doesn't ask to hold Pete very often so when he does I must document the two together.
"hi guys"
Look at these two buddies!
Evelyn has the best faces!
She is done with this photo-op.
Pete on the other hand is proud of himself for touching her.
I want to know what she is thinking!!

Pete: Update

Pete has been back on oxygen for the last week.  He got a little cough/cold/congestion virus and it has affected his breathing and blood oxygen levels.
I was kind of upset and a little bit emotional when Dr. Haderlie told me he wanted to put Pete back on oxygen, it brings back really raw emotions.  When we tested Pete's blood oxygen levels they were in the 70's and they are suppose to be in the high 90's.
He doesn't have to be on it all the time just when he naps and at night, he doesn't seem to mind.
