Bear Lake {day three}.

Todays forecast was for overcast skies so we decided to go explore the Minnetonka Cave.

The kids LOVED the cave and learning all about its features.
Here is a little picture profile of the cave.  The kids all walked 888 stairs - in about 40 degree air {it was cold in there}.
The original Idaho / Utah boarder marker.
Our friend Kirk has goal to take his picture by every state sign so we helped him out with two!

Bear Lake {day two}.

These silly boys love to camp!
Happy campers in the morning!
This happy camper got a little to cold.
Our camp site was full of toys and balls.
I love that early morning face!
Breakfast.
Today was beautiful and sunny, we spent the entire day by the lake.
Trumans muscles picture.
Bodies muscles picture.
The water was very shallow for a long distance out so it made playing really fun.
The Robinsons.
Us.
There were lots of sand volleyball and soccer games.
We rented a sea-doo for the day.  The 'big boys' had a blast on it!
Bodie would not go near the sea-doo all day.  Finally toward the end of the day I took him out going 5 MPH.

Bear Lake {day one}.

Every year we try and take a family camping trip with our friends the Robinsons.  We decided on Bear Lake last year and early this spring the day the camp sites became available I hurried and reserved some for us.

Gregg was on his phone and the kids were both asleep before we even left the driveway!

I am sure everyone that passed us got a kick out of our bikes on the back!
Relaxation for a few days!
We really need this.
The kids loved the trackers that are used to back the boats into the water.
We got to camp just in time to throw up the tent and work on dinner.
We made man burgers and hotdogs the first night.

 {Jorgan, Luci, Collin, Xander}
For dessert we attempted to make croissants with pudding in them - until I left them over the fire to long :(
 Beautiful Bear Lake sunset.
We are trying a new sleeping arrangement for the kids - they are sharing a queen blow-up that I turned side-ways.  Instead of zipping them in their sleeping bags {I think it restricks Bodie to much and is causing him to wake up at night} I put their bags over them with blankets - so it's a little more like a bed.

The fair.

It's that time of summer again, time for the county fair.

If it wasn't for the kids we would probably avoid the fair all together but the kids love it.
We let the kids each chose two rides.
First up Bodie chose the boats - he loved it.
Gregg somehow talked Truman into going down the Fun Slide and it was a hit.
Then it was back to the boats for Bodies second ride.
As you can see it did not disappoint the second time either!!!
 It was a beautiful night.

Suits.

{Enoch, Truman, Bodie}

My brother Dallin is getting married this month, and his fiancĂ© wants all the little boys in tuxedos.  You would think it would be easy to find little tuxedos - but its not!  We found the best store in south Salt Lake that had great little boy and little girl outfits for special occasions {that are not super cheesy}.  It was cheaper to buy all the boys little black suits and have them tailored then it was to rent them.  They are going to look sharp!

Bodie found this cute pony-tail head band in the store - maybe if we had girls this is what they would look like!?

This isn't a great picture, but it shows Bodies personality perfectly!
What a ham - and he knows it.
