I took some pictures of our Turnberry house before our renters moved in today.

We love this house, especially the view.
But there are things about it we are glad to be leaving.
And of course we are excited about the new house.

The Move. Part I

We moved.

No, our new house is not done.

The plan has always been to rent out our Turnberry house starting in the summer.

Because we knew we would be moving some time during the summer {and we didn't want any of our current furniture in our new house} we have been slowly cleaning out, selling and giving away stuff over the past 6 months.  The furniture and accessories I had left our renter bought from us!  Perfect.  We only had to take one piece of furniture to the consignment store.

So, that being said, moving was a little easier.
I am not going to lie - moving in 96 degree weather {and sometimes even hotter} is not fun.
There were a few grumpy moments by me.

And a HUGE thank you to my dad for helping us.
It was hot, and no one likes to move or help move.
We put everything in storage.
I tried to be as organized as possible so we could find things we might need!

We rented a fully furnished 2 bedroom condo for the next few months.
It's about 50 yards from the condo my parents are renting while they build :)

The picture below is completely embarrassing, but I have to show what it is really like!
The move is over, and now I need to get us settled into this condo.
YIKES!

The fridge door is wide open - oops - I didn't even notice in this mess.

Oakely Rodeo.

After a long, hot day of moving we dropped everything and went to the Oakley Rodeo with my parents.
It was beautiful evening with big thunder clouds off in the distance.

4th

Happy 4th of July!
We are right in the middle of a move so we didn't have any big plans
other then moving beds and boxes.

Summer Swim Lessons.

We just finished 10 days of swim lessons - I am amazed at what the boys learned.

It helps that my kids adore Chad, he is a state swimming champ and in our ward.  I like my boys looking up to him {and his three brothers}.
Bodie in the water and Truman getting ready.
This was Bodies first year of swim lessons - he learned a lot of basic pool safety, like coming to tell mom he is getting in the pool!
He learned how to relax and float on his back.
{legs uncrossed, arms out and BREATHING - he kept holding his breath}
Jumping in and popping up for a breath of air.
Head under water and blowing bubbles.

Truman learning to work his arms and legs together in a forward motion!
Trumans biggest accomplishment was learning to jump in, pop up for a breath of air and then get on his back and float.
Truman is really great on his back - I didn't get a picture but the kid can do the back stroke!
