We bought when Libby was born. I'm still looking for a double and don't plan on getting a Baby trend again, I just don't think it will last like I want it too. I've looked into the Schwinn and InStep as well and they each seem pretty good. Just not sure how small they fold. Good luck. Let me know what you decide.Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03869376761300120468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-29314273108673781732011-01-12T11:46:45.141-07:002011-01-12T11:46:45.141-07:00Camille, Tell me what you end up going with. Babinski's has the City Mini, Bob, and Bumbleride in stock on the floor so you can really make a good choice side by side. If I didn't get such a great deal on the bumbleride I would have done the City Mini that Krista has. The Bob is well liked but I heard from a woman that her child didn't like it because the seats are soft and don't offer any support. Good luck and I hope you get the best stroller for you.Kim And Brucehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14848699679121190445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-55634372023171099002011-01-08T19:42:58.159-07:002011-01-08T19:42:58.159-07:00They all look fun! I haven't had any problems with it and we bought it used.
On a side note with this, I purchased an iHome speaker set, for my iPod, that is really great when I run. I like that I don't have to have earphones in and that Abi can also listen to some of her music to keep her entertained too. We will even take it with us to the pool during the summer. The little remote that comes with it is nice next to my hands while I run.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01007004587763607230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-34728538588488707112011-01-07T09:49:43.373-07:002011-01-07T09:49:43.373-07:00if you don't plan on jogging, don't get on...if you don't plan on jogging, don't get one with that big bicycle front wheel!! they are made for going straight, they don't turn well at all! i did tons of research when i bought my baby jogger city mini double. it was best for me because of price, size, ease of folding and maneuvering. mine is great for brisk walking around the neighborhood. i don't run... i love my stroller, i wished you could have checked it out a bit more... there are great stroller reviews on www.babygizmo.com!! check them out! the other one i was torn between was the bumbleride. i didn't get it because it cost a lot more, was more difficult to fold and a lot bigger when folded (takes up too much room in the car or when storing. good luck!!Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231787968076005652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-76894269796242737252011-01-06T20:57:54.646-07:002011-01-06T20:57:54.646-07:00We have a Bob Revolution with the optional swivel ...We have a Bob Revolution with the optional swivel front wheel and it's like the SUV of strollers. A bit big, but SO easy to handle outdoors and we've even pushed it across a beach. The suspension is great and you can turn it with one hand. But if you already love the Schwinn, I'd stick with what you like. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04287117834819439476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-68058770616898538732011-01-06T20:38:16.093-07:002011-01-06T20:38:16.093-07:00To stear a fixed front wheel you have to lift it o...To stear a fixed front wheel you have to lift it off the ground. To stear a swivel wheel you just push (like a regular stroller). The best options are the locking front wheel where it swivels, but if you are going off road you can lock it into place.
The best feature of my double jogger that I pulled out of the trash on someone's curb....is that I can plop a 12" bike with training wheels on top of the shade canopy when some over-ambitious 3 year old burns out half a mile from home. It also holds a folding camp chair nicely for those walks over to the park; sometimes It has even held both at the same time with a kid in each seat and one propped on the wheel guard in front.
So take a good look at the design...if you can picture loading it like a circus car...it's a sure winner.Hopkinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01050238047800524847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7378337374967804681.post-62449131055406561382011-01-06T20:35:41.638-07:002011-01-06T20:35:41.638-07:00I say go with either the Schwinn or the Bumble Rid...I say go with either the Schwinn or the Bumble Ride because they have front swivel wheels which I think is a HUGE deal. I bought a double stroller with one of those big front wheels and it was impossible to maneuver in smaller spaces.Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15125332914098280323noreply@blogger.com
